LINCOLN County is currently under a winter weather advisory per the Governor.
Due to the forecast for inclement weather including snow and frozen precipitation early tomorrow morning, Lincoln County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day for students on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Wednesday, February 19th, will be an Optional Workday for staff. Any employees reporting to work should be mindful of road conditions before beginning their morning commute.

Gaston College's Rhino Roadmap to CTE Careers will be held on February 25, 2025, from 5-8 pm on their Dallas campus.
This event will allow prospective and current students (and parents/community members) to explore CTE programs, meet faculty, view classrooms/labs, and network with local employers. There will be a live drawing at the conclusion of the night where participants have the chance to win gift cards and a grand prize - a laptop! Pizza will also be served at 5 pm and desserts at the end.

We would like to congratulate our Varsity Cheer as they will be recognized by the NCHSAA and our NC Governor as they have partnered with the NC Highway Patrol in their Scholar Athlete Program. These young ladies achieved an unweighted TEAM GPA of 3.7. These girls are champions on and off the court, great job and congrats. GO MUSTANGS!


We would like to congratulate EL swimmer Rider Warner as he has accomplished something only a few did this past Friday at the 3A NCHSAA state swim championship in Cary, NC. Rider WON THE INDIVIDUAL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE 100 BACKSTROKE. Huge accomplishment Rider and we are all very proud of you!! GO MUSTANGS!
