Dress Code

As you get ready to freshen up your wardrobes for the new school year please review these reminders about the Lincoln County Schools Dress code that will be enforced at all schools.

  • Caps, hats, bandanas, hoods, sunglasses, and other head coverings may not be worn inside.

  • Tops, tank tops, and shirts must cover chest, back, and abdomen.

  • Shirts should not be see-through and tank top straps should be wide enough to cover undergarments (about 2 inches).

  • Bottoms should be an appropriate size and length for the wearer. Rips or tears in bottoms should not expose skin from the upper thigh or higher.

  • No undergarments should be exposed.

  • Sleepwear such as slippers, pajamas, or bedroom shoes are not appropriate in a school setting.

  • Accessories that may hinder movement or cause injury should not be worn.

  • Tights/leggings/jeggings or yoga pants are only allowed if worn with a top that strikes the individual near the bottom of the buttocks or longer.
