Celebrating Veterans Day is one of the most heartfelt experiences we, as a school, look forward to each year. Our gym was filled with honorable guests; men, and women who have served and continue to serve for our freedom for the good ole USA. Thank you all! Thank you to our staff and students for prioritizing such a humble way to give back to our community. Thank you WLHS JROTC, DAV Chapter 53, WLHS DrumLine, Jesse Bean, and our WLHS vocalist, Mackenzie for singing the National Anthem—your participation during this event. We are very grateful for you all!

Veterans Day Program is Thursday, November 7th.

Big Owls read a Scholastic News to Little Owls about pumpkin boat races. Way to go Mrs. Helms and Mrs. Dixon's class!

We want to see that you're RED-Y to be Drug and Bully Free! See all our Owls in their Red tomorrow!❤️🦉

It is hard to believe we are embarking on November. The holidays are upon us and I hope you all know that I am grateful for each student and family at Union.
I hope you all have a Happy Halloween tonight!

Rebel students started volunteering at Union through the Rebel Reader program. This is the first year for this opportunity and it's off to a great start! Thank you, Hallie Black, Landon Carver, and Gideon Allen for giving back to Union! We have several other students participating as well and will feature them soon!

More images of Mad Science Night!

We were seeing a double today for Twining Thursday! Together we can say no to drugs and bullying!

Thank you West Zone Principals for all your hard work and dedication to our community and families!

Wild West Wednesday was a hit!

Grab a friend or a group and dress alike! Together we will stand up to drugs & bullying!

This week at our G.E.M.S. meeting, students learned facts about spiders and about four different types of webs they build: orb, triangle, sheet, and shapeless. Then, the girls painted webs with watercolors and oil pastels.

Mad Science Night was such a fun night! A big thank you to our teachers and staff for a fun-filled evening! A special thank you to Mrs. Lynch for organizing this event. Mostly, thank you, parents and students, for showing up and enjoying a night of learning and fun.

Thank you to the Spargo Family for donating our American Flag to be flown in honor of their granddaughters, Grayson & Tessa, who attend Union. The flag was presented to the family in memory of William R. Spargo, US Navy.

Dust off your belt buckles and break out your hats. In the Wild West we'll give Drugs and Bullies the boot! 🤠

Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Hoyle's class enjoyed an owl buddy snack and a spooky story. The students also created pumpkin patches from pudding, Oreos, and candy corn.

We can't wait to see everyone in their PJ's tomorrow!
