Fourth graders are getting to know their new anole "friends"! Science continues to be AWESOME!

Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Walker-owl buddies enjoyed coming to see our anoles and the terrariums we have made. The students were able to tell their owl buddies about the anoles and everything they have learned in science over the last couple of weeks.

Recently, the Lincoln County 4H came to 1st grade to install a Hydroponic Garden. Plants such as lettuce, basil, cilantro, and chives, just to name a few, are growing. Each week this mobile garden will be moved to a different 1st grade classroom for students to enjoy and watch the plants grow. Near Thanksgiving, the students will harvest the plants.

Thank you, Union PTO, for a great lunch today. We are so grateful for you!

At our first GEMS meeting, the girls learned about how all life on Earth depends on water. We brainstormed all the ways we use water in a day, created water cycle bags, and discovered how many drops would fit on a penny! Water is wonderful!

"Way to GLOW", Gracelynn! She is glowing with her spectacular reading skills!

The Union Elementary Bible Club Students and PTO would like to invite students, parents, teachers and our Union neighbors to meet at the flag pole on Wednesday, Sept 25th at 7:15 AM for student led prayer.

Thank you so much, FleetNet America, for your generous donation to our school library. We are so grateful to live in a community that supports and serves others. Thank you!

It was great to see our Owls at the varsity football game last night and spending time with our community!
