Good Evening Iron Station Family, I want to provide you with some information for this school week! Tomorrow is the last day we will be collecting money for Micaville! We are challenging each Elementary School student and staff member in Lincoln County to donate $1.00 to help Micaville Elementary restore their classrooms after Hurricane Helene. Remember, no donation is too small! Progress reports will go home with students on Monday, November 25th. If you have not completed your online Returning Student Verification, a paper copy will be sent home with Progress Reports. Please look over the information, correct any changes or errors, and return it to school as soon as possible. There will be no school for students on Wednesday, November 27th! Students will return from Thanksgiving Break on Monday, December 2nd. We are thankful to have you all as part of our Iron Station Family! Have a wonderful evening!

Our fifth graders had a great time learning about the programs that Lincoln County School of Tech offers for high schoolers! Some of them allow students to get a *FREE* certification or degree that will set them up for their future career. They also offer summer camps that students will be eligible to attend starting the summer after 6th grade. We appreciate them for giving our students this opportunity!

Veteran's Day is one of our favorite days here at Iron Station. We remember and honor all who have served or are actively serving. Thank you Veterans! Our Annual Christian Ministries Food Drive has started. If you are able and willing to donate, a list of needed items has been posted on our Live Feed and Social Media. If you are the parent of a first or third-grader, please make sure you have signed and sent back your child's permission form for our hearing screenings. If you need another copy, please let your child's teacher know. Our PTO will have their monthly meeting on Thursday, November 14th at 5:15 PM.
